I feel terrible, because I have done a poor job of keeping you updated lately. In a nutshell, I went to a terrific yoga session last week, visited Bath with my tourism class, and got really fired up about fair trade (their program for it is excellent here) and on the flipside, the poor recycling program on campus. I've been frantically trying to finish up assessments due this week and immediately after I return from Easter break in April, and did a bit of socializing and last minute shopping this weekend to get ready for the trip.
After class on Thursday, I'm going to try to catch the noon train to Southampton and fly from there to Amsterdam, where I'll hop on another train to Hoorn and meet up with my aunt Aly. :) I'll be in Holland until March 22, visiting with family and doing a bit of sightseeing. It will also be my grandmother's birthday and my Eau Claire roommate, Katie (who's currently studying abroad in Ireland), will meet me in Holland on March 18 and hopefully I can throw together a tour of one of my favourite countries for her! On the 22nd, I'll meet up with Danielle and her friend Jenny (both from Eau Claire, Danielle is studying here with me) in Belgium and so far, our tentative plan is to spend the following three weeks travelling through Belgium, southern Germany, Czech Republic (because I'm in love with what I've seen/heard/read about Prague), Austria, Italy, Greece and maybe another stop if we have time before class starts in Winchester again on April 14.
I'll be virtually homeless, so I don't know how well I'll be able to communicate via the Internet, but I'll do what I can to stop at an Internet cafe and at least update you on here. I'll miss you all (though I do already!) and hope this week and the rest of the season brings you warmer weather and a happy Easter!
