I have way too many things to write about. Way too many. I haven't even written about the Sunday concert at Lincoln Memorial yet! I've just been too pooped. I went to bed at 10:00 last night after getting home at 9 p.m., and I'm still tired. But so energized! I'm really excited about the new president.
Before I say anything else though, please go see Gran Torino! It's the best movie I've seen in a long time, and especially for you Clint Eastwood fans (Aly!), I highly recommend it.
Until I get home so I can write more, I wrote this for today's issue of The Leader-Telegram (in Eau Claire), just so you have an idea of what the past day has been like.

I thought about you when I was watching CNN...and all I could think was that you probably had that look on your face like when we pushed our way to the front at the Goo Goo Dolls concert, only a million times more.
Hello,
I know you and I have never met, but I'm one of Danielle's friends from high school (and still her friend). I just wanted to say congrats on the article! I was reading the Leader Telegram today and saw you on the front page. Your article was really well-done; you should feel very proud of the work you did. It must be very rewarding for you to be an intern at the Washington Post. Well, I just wanted to say you really did nice work:)
